New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

i think this place might be an actual fraud. kept rescheduling my lessons. i cancelled a bunch as well. they won't respond to emails on getting my refund. am now having to file dispute through credit card - thankfully there is an email thread... really disappointing. truly save yourself the headache. i saw these reviews before and gave the benefit of doubt and can say they everyone was totally right. very sketchy operations and pretty much thieves.

I took private lessons at Tennis Innovators (John Jay College), but due to scheduling issues and a decline in the quality of the lessons, I requested a refund. The instructor, promised a refund, but for months, he barely responded to my calls and messages. I went to see him because I couldn't get in touch with the person responsible for making the final decision. He promised to refund me "by tomorrow" and "by next week," but he broke every promise. He claimed he didn't even have $550 in his account, a ridiculous and unbelievable claim for a business owner. This place is incredibly irresponsible, unprofessional, and lacks even basic systems. I've contacted John Jay College, but have received no response. No one is taking responsibility. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!! I don't want anyone else to have the same ridiculous experience I had.

BEWARE: THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY! Iβm reviewing this company on their practices and business team. They are completely unorganized, unprofessional, and give you false promises. Iβve taken multiple classes with them over the years and always had issues getting refunds. As an alternative, I was typically able to make up the service with make-up classes at other times. However, in Spring 2024, it changed. I was registered for a Spring 24 class at Riverside/119th. First the class had a delayed start date and then cancelled (with no notice. I emailed to follow up) because they no longer had the permit to operate. Since there was no longer a location that I could go to, I asked for a refund. After promised a refund, it was never issued. Matteo is the only who replies to emails, but heβs not a decision maker. If you call the number, no one picks up. After multiple inquiries over many months about my refund status, they simply stopped responding. Matteo strings you along, and makes it seem like something is going to get resolved. However, you try to talk to someone else - the mystery Juan who is supposedly going to issue refund - then itβs no response. Ultimately, Iβm out over $400 for a c

I strongly advise against enrolling in this academy. Their lack of professionalism and numerous safety concerns for children attending their classes or camps are deeply troubling. They frequently cancel classes with little notice and are unwilling to issue refunds, reflecting poorly on their reliability and commitment to the students and parents. In addition, their unethical customer service practices suggest a complete disregard for integrity, making them appear as nothing more than crooks.
